PAYMENT INFORMATION Occidental College Bookstore accepts all major credit cards for web, phone and in-store purchases. Please contact us if you would prefer to prepay with a personal check.

SHIPPING

Event Sales: There is neither shipping nor tax added to event ticket sales. All tickets are held at the Box Office "Will Call" window. When finalizing your order, you must select "Will call at Venue" as the method of shipment

Merchandise Sales: We ship FEDEX Ground, see rates below. For an additional charge of $20.00, your order can be shipped FEDEX Second Day Air for orders placed Monday - Thursday. The order must be placed no later than noon Pacific time.  Overnight shipping is also available, please call the bookstore 323-259-2630 for rates based on your delivery location and weight of your order. 
Sorry, overnight shipping not available for diploma frames or chairs.

SIZE INFORMATION:

Children - Small (6-8), Medium (10-12), Large (14-16), or otherwise noted.

Adult tops (chest size) - Small (34-36), Medium (38-40), Large (42-44), XL (46-48), XXL (50-52).

Adult bottoms (waist size) Small (28-30), Medium (32-34), Large (36-38), XL (40-42)

SHRINKAGE AND WASHING INFORMATION: Garments made of 100% cotton will shrink approximately 2%; we recommend ordering the next larger size. Care should be taken to avoid using excessive heat when washing or drying the garment.

There is no shrinkage in clothing made from 100% synthetic fibers or most 50/50 blends. Do not iron over a design. For best results, manufacturer's washing instructions should be followed.

REFUND & EXCHANGE  POLICY

 

·         Refunds and exchanges are given on textbooks  during the first week  of class.

·         Merchandise must be accompanied by the cash register receipt and OXY ID

·         New books must be new and in good salable condition as required by all book publishers.  DO NOT WRITE IN ANY NEW BOOK until you are certain there is no necessity for returning it.

·         Used books are accepted in good condition.

·         Refunds are given in cash for cash and check purchases.  Credit card purchases are credited back to the credit card used.

·         Trade books and other merchandise will be accepted for refunds, provided they are in the same condition as when purchased.   
 

BUY BACK 

·         Textbooks are bought back during Finals and the beginning of each semester.

·         If you purchased the book new, you will receive 50% of the current new price.  If you purchased the book used, you will receive 50% of the current used book price. WHEN:

1.        Books for which a current text adoption is on file with the Bookstore and additional used texts are still needed.

2.        Books must be in good salable condition.  (Writing and underlining are permissible).

·         A book which has not been readopted for course use may be purchased by the wholesale buyer if it is the current edition and still in  print.  However, many used books do not have a cash value. 

TEXTBOOK PRICES 

Prices of textbooks are generally established by the publisher.  Prices are subject to change without notice.  Used books are priced at 75% of the new price.
